Ernest Thompson Seton Scout Reservation is the council camp of the Greenwich Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
The Greenwich Council was founded in 1912. Since Seton was a founder of the BSA, serving as chief scout, and was a resident of Greenwich, he was elected to serve as the first president of the Greenwich Council.
In 1960, the Council opened its new 249-acre camping facility and named it in memory of Seton as the Ernest Thompson Seton Scout Reservation. It is often referred to simply as “Camp Seton.”
In 2022, the Greenwich Council generously allowed the Institute to hoist its board retreat at Camp Seton. It is a beautiful camp!
